Post-Immigration Settlement Services

There are several factors to consider when settling into a new country with a brand new system and culture. Canada consistently ranks as one of the top places to live in the world.

We can assist you in a number of ways to make your settlement journey in Canada easier and hassle free. Some of these are:

Accommodation: finding a place to live – Rent or Purchase

Our team can help you find a home that meets your and your family’s needs. We will assist you in finding a place where you will have access to retail stores, grocery stores that carry ethnic foods, faith centres, recreational centres, medical offices etc. Real estate in Canada has experienced tremendous growth over the past decade which has resulted in substantial financial growth for many families and it has even managed to resist the economic pressures of Covid-19. We also understand that not all newcomers can afford to buy a home in Canada and instead prefer to lease. We will be happy to work with you to help you find a place to buy or lease in the area you choose to reside in.

Service Applications:

We will help you process your application to access services such as health insurance, social insurance number, driver’s license, etc.

Career and Employment Services:

Through our network with employers, employment agencies and educational institutions we will support your job search and career goals.

Elementary and Secondary Education:

One of the reasons Canada’s standard of living is so highly ranked is because of our education system. In Ontario, we have different schooling systems that you can enroll your children into. The main systems are: Public schools, French immersion schools, Alternative schools and Private schools. Schools from Kindergarten to Grade 12 are publicly funded through taxes, unless you choose to enroll your child into a private school. Canada’s public schooling system consistently ranks among the top in the world and as a result most families choose to enroll their children into public schools. In most cases, where your child goes to school is based on where you live. In some cases, if you choose to enroll your child into a specialized school, you can apply to have your child attend a school outside of your address or designated zone. Our team will be happy to help you further understand the school registration process based on where youl ive and which specialized programs you may want for your children.
